About This
- 100% Natural Expanding Mulch Medium - Made from natural coconut husks, Plantonix Coco Chips create a protective mulch layer for outdoor plants, raised beds, flower gardens, trees, shrubs, and container plants. Coco husk chips are perfect for tropical plants, orchids, and outdoor gardens where it’s important to retain moisture throughout the growing season.
- Long-Lasting Moisture Retention - Coco Chips help reduce water evaporation by covering exposed soil and shielding it from direct heat and sunlight. This helps soil retain moisture, regular temperatures around plant roots, and reduce soil compaction over time. Because you don’t have to water as frequently, you can contribute to more sustainable gardening practices.
- A Cleaner Alternative to Traditional Fiber Mulch - Unlike some wood mulches that compact heavily or break down unevenly, coconut husk chips stay light, airy, and easy to work with. They provide excellent airflow while still covering the soil surface. Plus, they create a tropical look, giving some extra flair to garden beds, ground covering, and landscaping projects.
- Great for Beginners, Hobbyists, & Serious Growers - Whether you’re growing vegetables in raised beds, caring for orchids and houseplants, or maintaining large outdoor gardens, Coco Chips are an easy-to-use mulch medium that fits into almost any gardening routine. Simply hydrate the block, spread the chips, and enjoy a cleaner, more manageable growing space.
- Made from Compressed Natural Coconut Husk Chips - Our Coco Chips are made from recycled coconut husks that would normally be thrown away. They’re compressed into a compact 10lb block for easy storage and transport. Once water is added, the 10lb brick expands into a long-lasting mulch medium that’s lightweight, renewable, and easy to spread.
